I am up early this morning to an early alarm clock! Earlier than normal. It is a little before six am. Apologies to my neighbors if any of you are reading this. It was, and still is, pouring down rain outside and the van’s car alarm kept going off for no reason. Talk about a disturbing alarm clock. To be honest, I really didn’t know it was mine at first until my husband came running into the bedroom asking for my keys, then I panicked for a second scrambling around to find them while still half asleep. Strange! No one was trying to break in and the lights were on and the alarm going off. I don’t get it. I’m so sorry if we woke up babies and kids. I didn’t mean too, I promise!

This weekend is going to be exciting at Homewood Antiques and Marketplace! It is red balloon sale weekend! I will be having 20% off in my booth, AND, I decided to let go of my happy treasures from the Longest Yard Sale and pass them on to you. I can’t keep everything. *SNIFF* *SNIFF* it’s so hard to say goodbye! I have a tiny little house and too many collections so I thought I better not start another one.
I brought in some fantastic antique sap buckets that have been turned into jacko-lanterns for fall decorating. I have several flat buckets for your door as well as some bucket to put either candles or a mum in. They are all great for the porch or indoors. And OH SNAP! I didn’t take a before shot before I took them into the store. YIKES. Oh well, Here, I will just show you where I got them. See all of those awesome saps on the ground in front of that really cool door? That is them! I bought 4 for the plants and 2 flats. They are SO stinkin’ cute.

I also brought in 7 seltzer bottles, all blue and green. These are the very ones. Finding those were the highlight of my trip! If you missed that story, you can catch it here.

And yes, I am going to part with the old tool box. I think it will be great for fall decorating as well.

If you want to see more of some of the items that may be on sale, I just posted some new Fresh in the Markeplace pictures on Homewood’s blog here. I hope you all have an incredible weekend! I’m going to hug on my kids and enjoy them for one last summer weekend. School starts next week!
