Somewhere in between Christmas shopping, filling last minute holiday orders and packing to visit family, I managed to get my closet finished. I emptied the entire contents onto the family room floor and put it all back. I don’t think you can really see everything and get it organized until you have totally cleared it out. It gives you new perspective on what you want to keep and how much stuff you really have to purge. I filled an entire garbage sack full of trash and a full box of things to give away! It feels great to have a fresh start for fresh vision. Here are a few pictures! You can finally see the floor.
The label maker and the dollar store became good friends of mine. I labeled everything and used these awesome dollar store buckets with eye hooks to fill wasted space. The eye hooks were attached underneath a shelf.
All of my fabric is in the basement in Rubbermaid boxes but I put pieces that I am currently using rolled up in a cute basket.
I got all of these rubbermaid drawers at a garage sale for a quarter a piece! Bargain! I put labels for everything that is stored in each drawer. I moved all of my paper files to the clear container.
