Like the majority of all of us, the new year represents a fresh start and prompts us to re focus on new goals and priority adjustments. We just had our family meeting to come up with the Wright family “rallying cry” for the first quarter. I’m sure it comes as no surprise when I tell you it is “Lets’ get organized.” We are going to be focusing on organizing our home, our schedule, and our finances as well as focusing on fitness. I have really slacked in the fitness and food department. Cleaner eating is always my goal but sugar has slipped back into all of our diets from all of the birthday parties and holiday gatherings and it has wreaked havoc on my waistline. Clean eating eliminates processed foods and sugar which also helps us to stay healthy and is so good for my daughter with allergies. I can tell a huge difference in just a week when her diet is clean. I am ready to get back to foods like this pizza! YUMMMMM……
In thinking about all of this, I came across a great tool to help me achieve my food goals. My friend Heather Brown who works for E-Meals shared a new program they have for clean eating. I have to admit, A whole lot of my problem is coming up with the recipes for food my family will actually eat. This plan does all of the work for me. All I have to do is shop and cook.
