CHRISTMAS IN REVIEW

Well HELLO!!! Long time no talk, huh? After getting back from Disney we had a bout with the flu. Over the past 7 days I have had a 5-year-old glued to my side, lap, hip, bed, or just about anywhere I went. She is still not well! This afternoon, day 8, she has a 101 fever. Motrin and Tylenol did a fabulous job getting her through Christmas feeling well, but she was certainly wiped out after all of our fun family Christmas events. I have been fortunate to not get sick, so far so good. Having a husband and a 5-year-old feeling crummy, I had a hard time finishing up my Christmas shopping let alone blog or work. My sweet mom went and re arranged my booth the best that she could and re stocked on milk paint. I love her.

We had a wonderful Christmas together, and I hope you all did as well. We are blessed to not have to travel far. All of our family is here in town. We spent Christmas Eve at my father-in-laws, Christmas morning at home and at my parents, and then Christmas night, we headed over to my mother-in-law’s.

I am now officially Christmas-ed out. I am one of those who is ready to put it all up the day after. I didn’t though. I enjoyed my kids, sat on the floor putting a princess Barbie castle together, playing American Girl and watching new movies. We stayed in our jammies all day and it was fabulous.

Christmas 4

I did manage to get my kitchen clean and  START a little organizing. I couldn’t stand it!

Christmas 5

I hope you and yours had a very Merry Christmas. I’m off to watch Christmas Vacation {edited for TV} with my hubs.
